Who We Are
The Puppetry Arts Center of the Palm Beaches, Inc. is a
Theater and Museum dedicated to the art form of puppetry. Founded in 1993, we serve
a broad audience that includes children, adults and puppeteers at ALL levels of
ability.
The Center considers itself a gift to the community and is committed to keeping
the costs at a place that make the programs available to children and families of
all economic and ethnic populations. It helps schools and communities by underwriting
some of the costs.

We're Back! Better and Bigger Than Ever!
With a long rich history, the Puppetry Arts Center has been serving the community
of South Florida with excellence since 1993. Operating as a 501(c) Not-for-Profit
organization, the Center uses the art of puppetry to educate, inspire creativity
and imagination, and to enchant our diverse community.
We invite you to come see the Center’s new home! With nearly 5,000 square feet,
the new facility features a one hundred eighty (180) seat black box theatre in addition
to the museum, store, and the Center’s administrative offices and extensive reference
library.
The theater, featuring a newly refurbished lighting and sound system, will be home
to a rotating schedule of performances by professional puppeteers, ventriloquist,
and storytellers as well as the Center’s Dreammaker Puppeteers performance company.
After the show, be sure to stroll through our museum, home to fine antique displays,
unique exhibits, and many one-of-a-kind works, taking you through the history of
puppetry throughout the ages.
Then, stop by the gift shop where you can find a huge inventory of diverse creatures
that you can bring to life, along with other gifts to take home.
You can find the Center in the Pineapple Grove Arts District near Atlantic Avenue
in Delray Beach at 94 NE 2nd Avenue, just minutes from I95 and Route 1. With plenty
of ample parking, the Center is located next to the entrance of the parking garage,
situated just steps away from all the shopping and dining that downtown Delray has
to offer.
Besides coming out to see the performances, You, too, can get involved! The Center
offers workshop programs for kids, teens, and adults, so there’s something for everyone!
Would you like to see and experience even more behind the scenes? With the opening
of our new facility, many volunteer and college intern opportunities are still available,
some with no experience necessary! Come discover the Puppeteer in you!
